Since 1988, the parish community of St. Mary Orthodox Church has come together to worship, serve, and fellowship. We welcome you to visit us (link)!
Because of the use of the English language and the founders’ vision of becoming an American Orthodox church, St. Mary’s parishioners represent a wide variety of cultures, ages, and backgrounds and includes a large percentage of converts. (Read more about our church history).
Our vision for St Mary’s is to be a parish community where all are welcomed and cared for, whatever their background and status in life. We exist to bring forth Christ’s saving message as expressed and made real in the worship, teachings, and life of the Orthodox Faith. We believe that the Church is the center of our life, in all aspects, social, educational, and spiritual. We work at all times to fulfill God’s will for us. We wish to be a model American Orthodox Church in Northern Virginia.
"Celebrating over 30 Years of Truth, Tradition and Hospitality in Northern Virginia"
We invite you to join Rev. Father David Subu, Protodeacon Peter Danilchick, Deacon Nicholas Dujmovic and our entire community to share the fullness of faith with our friends and neighbors.
